The South Brisbane Wolves Volleyball Club enter a variety of teams to compete in a range of competitive volleyball competitions, including Volleyball Queensland hosted Premier Leagues and Championships and in addition, local Club hosted events. Junior Premier League (JPVL)

2020SBWSC RGP21272 originalThe Junior Premier Volleyball League (JPVL) is the highest level of weekly junior volleyball played in South East Queensland. Junior athletes with advanced skills are encouraged to trial for their respective age divisions ranging from U15, U17 and U19's. The JPVL competition is held weekly at various indoor venues across Brisbane on Friday nights for a duration of approximately 10 rounds plus finals. 


We pride ourselves on providing an outstanding junior program where individual teams are provided with exceptional coaching focused on leveraging individuals strengths, developing areas for growth and building positive team culture. All our coaches have valid Blue Cards, Play By The Rules certificates and Child Protection training. 

Trials for JPVL occur annually during the month of February.

Premier Volleyball League (PVL)

The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is the highest level of senior men's and women's weekly volleyball played in South East Queensland. Senior athletes with advanced skills are encouraged to trial to be selected into divisions ranging from Premier, Division 1, Division 2, Division 3 and Division 4 for both men and women respectively. The PVL competition is held weekly at various indoor venues across Brisbane and the Gold Coast on Sunday's for a duration of 14 rounds plus finals. 


We pride ourselves on filling all divisions throughout a regular PVL season as one of the leading volleyball club's in Brisbane. Our senior men and women's teams are coached by high level coaches and athletes with one to two trainings per week. We place a high expectation on our athletes to make a commitment to their team and their club to show up, play and train with a healthy competitive spirit and develop positive community on and off the court.

Qld State Championships

2020SBWSC RGP20367 originalThe Qld State Championships is an annual weekend volleyball tournament hosted by Volleyball Queensland. Volleyball club's and associations enter teams including senior men's and women's Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3 and junior boys and girls U19, U17 and U15's. 

The Qld State Championships is an action packed tournament in which teams compete for the most prestigious trophies in the state - the VQ State Championships and the VQ President's Shield, awarded to the best performing association or club across all divisions. 

The South Brisbane Wolves Volleyball Club was awarded the highly coveted President's Shield in our inaugural year in 2020, led by our then President - Brad Flavel. 

Our Qld State Championship teams consist of PVL playing members and additional friends of the club by invitation only.
