our story
south brisbane wolves
The South Brisbane Wolves Volleyball Club was born out of a love for the game and a desire to create something special in the heart of Brisbane.
Established in 2020, we started as a small but determined group of just 100 members, united by a common goal: to bring volleyball to the forefront of our community.
In just our first year, we made waves by clinching both the Volleyball Queensland Country Championships and the State Championships — a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion that each member poured into the club.
It wasn’t just about winning; it was about proving that when you come together with purpose, anything is possible.
Fast forward to today, and the South Brisbane Wolves have grown into one of Brisbane’s largest and fastest-growing volleyball clubs.
With over 1200 total participants and 288 seasonal players in 2024, we’ve built a vibrant community that spans all ages, skill levels, and backgrounds. Along the way, we’ve been honored with prestigious accolades, including being named the Volleyball Queensland Affiliate of the Year in 2023.
But our story isn’t just about numbers or trophies—it’s about the people who make this club what it is. From our dedicated coaches and players to the families and supporters who cheer us on, every single person contributes to the Wolf Pack spirit.
